Caitlyn Lasater spends her days wrangling both unruly children and equally unruly vegetables in the wilds of south Texas. When not battling her overgrown garden or grading essays that definitely weren’t written the night before, she can be found with her nose buried in a book or furiously mashing her keyboard for both stories and video games. Her spouse and two children have learned to recognize the glazed look in her eyes that means she’s mentally drafting her next story and mostly know better than to ask what’s for dinner. Caitlyn’s writing is fueled by pretend coffee at the local coffee shops (she’s allergic but likes the aesthetic) and the desperate need to get characters moving from her head to her paper, as she feels guilty when they’re stuck in limbo.
